When you purchase a Super Angel juicer from an authorized U.S. dealer you save a lot of money compared to the European version sold in other countries. Of course you assume a little risk and responsibility in return. First, the Super Angel 5500 is a 110 volt juicer. To use it in countries with 220 volt power systems you will need a 500 watt 110-220 up/down power transfomer and adapter plug.Though I have sold many of these units in Europe without a complaint, this conversion may affect performance slightly, Also, you get a U.S. warranty. As a result, there are no refunds of exchanges on international sales by U.S. dealers. In addition, honoring U.S. warranties by international buyers is at the manufacturer's discretion. In my experience Angel is pretty good about this though you will have to pay for any shipping between you and the U.S. Fortunately, that is still a lot less expensive than buying locally. Please understand that due the risks associated with international transactions it is impossible for for a U.S. dealer to offer these items at our amazing prices without these policies, but when you buy from a seller known for great support you can save the most with the least risk! Also, these stainless steel, commercial quality juicers are built like tanks and should last well beyond their warranty without a problem anyway. There are similar models available in 220 volts, called the Angelina or Angelia, however they costs as much as 50% more and are not as well made in my opinion, so you are better off buying and adapting the Super angel 5500.
