This Green Power (also called the Samson Ultra) is the latest evolution of the original Green Power and Green Life juicers - originally introduced in 1992. Just as its forerunners were, this is a multi-function juicer that juices everything from fruits and vegetables to wheatgrass. It features a low rotation speed of 160 RPM with a 1/4 hp motor, preventing oxidation and heat from damaging enzymes and nutrients. Compare this to 1,000-12,000 RPM for the most popular juicers. The venerable Champion juicer, in comparison, runs at 1725 RPM. This makes juice that tastes better, is more nutritious, and stores for longer periods. At the same time, it is the quietest machine on the market (just 60 dB). Though the other twin gear juicers on the market were and are still highly popular, they are heavy (over 19 lbs.) and difficult to clean.

The new Green Power weighs just 14 pounds and takes only a few minutes to clean. The new highly streamlined design also takes up far less kitchen space. It has separate screens for vegetables, fruit and crushing/pureeing functions and a separate pulp pressure adjuster for soft fruits. It can be used to make nut butter and frozen fruit sorbets. The pulp control nozzle is easily accessible and the low speed twin gears share the familiar "Bio-Magnetic" technology that is claimed to preserve the juice for longer periods. Magnets are fitted in the base of the jug too and a stainless steel pulp catcher is also included. A thermal protection device immediately stops the motor before any damage occurs.
